We strive to gradually and sustainably increase the proportion of female scientists and senior staff in the technical and scientific fields. Therefore, we are working to improve access and promotion conditions for women and systematically promote women who are already working at the institute. Our sustainable and focussed measures aim at supporting the female employees of our institute and are specified in FBH's current Equal Opportunity Plan.
FBH takes into account family commitments of its employees and also supports male colleagues in reconciling family and career through parental leave and flexibilization of working hours.
In 2009, FBH was awarded with the TOTAL E-QUALITY certificate for its dedicated involvement and measures to successfully implement equal opportunity. This certificate has again been awarded for another 3-year period in 2013, 2015, 2018 and 2021, respectively.
