Digital Accessibility Statement
Responsible public body
Ferdinand-Braun-Institut gGmbH, Leibniz-Institut für Höchstfrequenztechnik (FBH)
We strive to make our web presence accessible. The digital accessibility statement is required by the Berlin Accessible Information and Communication Technology Act (BIKTG Bln). The technical requirements for accessibility are derived from the German directive for accessible information technology (BITV 2.0).
This digital accessibility declaration applies to the website https://www.fbh-berlin.de/en/.
When was the accessibility declaration created/revised?
This declaration was created on 01.08.2021 and revised on 27.06.2025.
The review of accessibility was carried out by means of a self-assessment.
How accessible is the offer?
The website is largely compatible with the above requirements.
Some sections are not designed to be barrier-free, as doing so would constitute a disproportionate burden (BIKTG Bln §4 paragraph 3):
Barrier: Documents
- Description: Not all uploaded PDF documents are accessible.
- Justification: These PDF documents (e.g. flyers) are an additional offer. The information they contain can be found elsewhere on the website in accessible form. This does not apply to documents provided by third parties (e.g. German Patent and Trade Mark Office, European Patent Office) that are not accessible.
Who can you contact with comments or questions about digital accessibility (feedback option)?
Would you like to report information on the implementation of accessibility or existing barriers? Are you unable to adequately perceive, operate or understand something on our website? Do you need information in an accessible form? Then please let us know.
