Guided Tours, Training Fairs & Events

For interested school classes, FBH offers guided tours of the institute and the laboratories by appointment. This gives students and teachers an insight into the everyday work of scientists and trainees. In addition, FBH regularly presents its vacant apprenticeship positions in the fields of microtechnology and industrial mechanics at training fairs. Together with our colleagues from the Aus- und Weiterbildungsnetzwerk Hochtechnologie (ANH Berlin) we inform you about what you will learn in the apprenticeship, how it is organized and what you should consider when applying.

Do you have any questions? We'll be happy to answer them - just come by!

Guided tour at parents on tour with parents and children standing in front of the cleanroom
Parents on Tour - FBH has already participated twice

Parents get an insight into the professional field of microtechnology during this tour at the Ferdinand-Braun-Institut. Why? Because parents are an important guide in their children's career choice!

In small groups, parents on tour explore the cleanrooms of the institute together with their offspring and talk to trainees and instructors about everyday work in the laboratory.

What do I do after school? This is not an easy decision - the best thing is to get an idea of the different professions and positions yourself! At the Training Alliance Adlershof, students in grades 9-13 can get to know two Adlershof high-tech companies and research institutes in one morning.

Take a look at the labs and workshops and talk to trainees and instructors on site - so you can learn more about the professions that are available there. By the way, we will also be there!
