Michael Kneissl is new IEEE Fellow

In January 2016, Michael Kneissl (Joint Lab GaN Optoelectronics) has been selected to the join the distinguished circle of the IEEE Fellows for his contributions to the development of wide bandgap semiconductor laser diodes and ultraviolet LEDs. Fellow indicates the highest grade of membership awarded by the renowned professional association for engineers in the field of electrical engineering and related disciplines.
