Prize winner 2010: "wissen.schafft.arbeit" for successful technology transfer

The Institute for Experimental Physics of Otto-von-Guericke-Universität Magdeburg together with LayTec GmbH and Ferdinand-Braun-Institut - both of which are Berlin-based - are this year's winners of the "wissen.schafft.arbeit" award, which has been advertised by TU Chemnitz and Deutsche Postbank AG for the third time. The technology transfer prize is endowed with 20.000 Euro and has been awarded for the development and successful transfer of a wafer curvature measurement technology, which significantly enhances quality and yield of LED devices.
