Julien Kluge receives EFTF Poster Award

Julien Kluge has been awarded the Student Poster Prize at this year’s European Frequency and Time Forum (EFTF). His contribution, “Space qualification of a rubidium two-photon frequency reference,” was recognized in the category “Optical Atomic Frequency Standards.”

The presented frequency reference is a key component of an optical clock currently being developed at Ferdinand-Braun-Institut in collaboration with Menlo Systems, with the aim of demonstrating the technology in orbit.
