Dissertationspreis Adlershof awarded to Neysha Lobo Ploch

Dr. Neysha Lobo Ploch was awarded with the Dissertationspreis Adlershof (disseration award Adlershof) with regard to her pionieering research on highly efficient UV LEDs. She is sharing the first place of the 3,000 Euro prize with Jan Kischkat from HU Berlin. The technologies developed in this context layed the foundation for her spin-off "UVphotonics", which she founded jointly with three colleagues in December 2015. Ms. Lobo Ploch graduated within the framework of the Joint Lab GaN Optoelectronics, jointly operated by Ferdinand-Braun-Institut and Technische Universität Berlin.
