Trumpf opens Berlin subsidiary for high power laser diodes

German laser manufacturer Trumpf will be opening a new subsidiary this week for the advance engineering of laser diodes in Berlin. Close to, and in cooperation with, the Ferdinand-Braun-Institut, Leibniz-Institut für Höchstfrequenztechnik (FBH) and other facilities and experts, the company wants to continue expanding its technological lead in the high-performance diode laser sector.
