FBH publication selected as highlight 2012

A publication written by X. Wang, G. Erbert, H. Wenzel, B. Eppich, P. Crump, A. Ginolas, J. Fricke, F. Bugge, M. Spreemann, G. Tränkle from the FBH has been selected as highlight 2012 from the "Semiconductor Science and Technology" Editorial Board. The awarded article "High-power, spectrally stabilized, near-diffraction-limited 970 nm laser light source based on truncated-tapered semiconductor optical amplifiers with low confinement factors" has been published in this journal the previous year. The editors emphasized: "Highlights are selected based on outstanding research and impact on the semiconductor community, for which your article is highly regarded."
