DOPS Award for PhD achievements

On January 22, Lars Lindvold from the Danish Optical Society (DOPS) awarded the DOPS Prize 2013 to André Müller for his achievements in his thesis. André Müller has been working with the FBH before he changed to the Danish Technical University (DTU) to complete his thesis. Later, he returned to the FBH. According to the jury "He has developed a number of state-of-the-art, high-power and high-brightness lasers systems in the near-infrared and in the visible green region. Among these laser systems two laser systems are so outstanding that the Danish Optical Society determined that André Müller should be given the DOPS prize."
