Compact lasers for medical technology and displays

Hybrid diode laser systems in the visible spectral range open up numerous new applications for semiconductor lasers, such as in medical technology, materials processing as well as in entertainment. Such systems integrate a variety of functionalities in a space sized as small as a match box and thus enable more compact and mobile solutions without causing losses in output power.
