Abstract:

This study explores a surrogate model using coupled mode theory to predict the reflectivity spectrum of surface Bragg gratings. We use 2D FDTD simulations to build and validate the surrogate model. This approach allows for a comprehensive analysis of surrogate modelling specifically for longer structures.
