Abstract:
Tunable diode laser sources are key components in absorption spectroscopy, biomedical imaging and in optical telecommunication systems, to mention a few examples. The term tunable refers here to laser sources with a mechanism for precise control of the emission wavelength, while maintaining a narrow spectral linewidth. In addition, multiple applications require high output power with good beam quality.
