Abstract:
Excess noise degrades circuit performance in linear and nonlinear operation. The linear case,
obviously, is much easier to analyze, understand, and model. Things get much more involved when
nonlinear operation is involved. An analytical investigation is usually not feasible, thus it is
necessary to resort to numerical circuit simulation.
